On May 28, 2026, the first online workshop of the Community of Practice (CoP) on Gender Medicine and Health took place. The CoP offers a dynamic platform for exchange, networking, and the joint advancement of gender health and gender medicine. Sarah Koch and Larissa Hänsli participated in this exchange.

That afternoon, participants from all over Switzerland discussed four key issues: “Intersectionality,” “Education,” “Language,” and “Inclusion”.

In small groups, participants shared experiences, discussed challenges, and gathered ideas for future developments. The discussions led to exciting insights and new perspectives. Existing knowledge and diverse experiences were linked together. The workshop provided an opportunity to bring different perspectives together and develop initial shared ideas for further work within the Community of Practice.
